o-k-l-a-h-o-m-a

Spring Break turned into a long road trip to visit Jacob's hick roots, this is what the trip amounted to:

Ashley giving...directions?

Somewhere in Texas.

Royal Gorge!

Tough Cowboys.

Ashley the Logger :)

Jacob the Climber :)

Love in a Trunk.

She thinks my tractor's sexy!

We had a blazin' good time with our grandparents, parents, and uncles!

As you can see most of the trip was spent clearing land, and getting poison ivy, haha, but we had a blast. We saw Cashion, where Jacob grew up, its a small town, smaller than our backyard, well almost. If you blink you'll miss it. We had good food at the restaurants around Oklahoma, the old family favorites, Blue Moon (chinese), CiCi's (pizza), Eishen's (best fried chicken and okra) - they came out with pickles, bread, and onions, no plates, fried chicken (yummy!), and fried okra, we also ate at Pops, a nostalgic restaurant built on Historic Route 66. It was a great trip, and we were sad to leave, but life goes on!

THE BLOG....

So here I sit, Ashley away taking a test, with the assignment of fixing the blog. IT can be frustrating, I know I am a noob at this, but hey it looks decent now, and we have good music you can listen to now, so be happy! Well I don't have much else to say, it's the weekend, so maybe i'll get caught up on homework, but be excited Ashley and I are off to Oklahoma next week so that should provide a great post on the blog!

Photo Tagged!

I GOT TAGGED!

Here's how you play:

1. go to your my document/my pictures

2. go to your sixth file

3. go to your sixth picture

4. blog about it

5. tag six people(no cheating!!!)

Ashley is embarassed, so I am writing this. Anyway, I was down in Cedar City visiting her and we were bored so we went on a date to a fun tepinyaki (however you spell that) restaurant then having no money, we decided to go play "dress-up" at walmart. I chose this lovely outfit for her to put on, the other pictures show a more wild side of Ashley (i'll let you use your imagination) but she got lucky with this one, it was a great date, cheap, fun, and has provided laughs even now. :)

Our Apartment

This is our first apartment! It is kind of boring but luckily I have a great husband who was willing to bring it some character!

I love our green carpet, grandma furniture, and slanted ceilings!

Trip to Moab

Jacob and I decided to take a trip down to Moab on Feb. 6th. We had a great time, and the kids always make it even more exciting! While the adults were all busy doing a puzzle all three of the children climbed into the cupboard under the sink!

How cute! We also went for a hike with all the kids and had a pretty fun time! It felt so nice to be outside and not have to wear a coat, hat, gloves, and three layers of pants! Man Ephraim is cold!

Wedding

Jacob and I got married on Jan. 2 2009 in the Mt. Timpanogos temple. The crazy thing is that we had only met about six months before that. But everything worked out perfect and we were very ready to start our lives together!

It was a great day with a lot of our family and friends! This is a picture of everyone that came to see us at the temple.

My side of the family. It is growing a lot! And we will soon add one more in August when Cassie has her second child.

And now Jacob's side of the family! And my new niece and nephew that are just so cute!

And now we get to start our own family! I love that guy!
